As fall makes its debut and the leaves change so do the characters in our lives.

What was once a refreshing spritz is now sour, like a bottle of wine open for too long.

Anticipating fall in Scottsdale means deleting summer phone numbers to make room for the next adventure.

A few of us ended up in the same spot as the temperature cooled ...so did the love.

Sabrina was always content in her situationship until she wasn't . He was fun, unpredictable, generous, successful, and, he was out of town more than in town. It was the sex that was the glue, the common denominator of a great love affair.

Apparently it was also the out of town glue too. Sabrina was not really ever okay with the out of town bitches but for some reason when she got under the sheets all was forgotten, until the next time. The final straw was a scene from fatal attraction. One of his jealous ho's decided to march right in to where they were having dinner and proceed to have an argument with him about how SHE was hurt, despite the fact that Sabrina was sitting right next to him. Close that door!

Regina had been trying to navigate a year long relationship where one day she was the cat's meow and then kitty litter. Ryan the silver haired fox was quite the man about town, fox vs kitty in a game of hide and seek. He would float back in after a week of out of town work and appear in the bar scene unannounced. Regina would always be able to sniff him out and end up at the same place after midnight, then eventually, the same bed. Bootie catch, not call, he was elusive again once he left for the work week. The occasional catnip he threw out kept her sniffing around. It could be a trip to Tahoe, a wedding or a family dinner. She was the presentable date for family to meet. The fall of the fox was a vanishing act to " the cabin" without a word, over the holiday weekend . Close that Door.

We are keeping the door open this fall for local traffic only. Maybe long distance relationships make them look for a "rest stop" along the way but we took the exit ramp.
