Scottsdale's hottest new venue, The Remi, is exactly what you would expect: well-appointed, hot hospitality workers, and a super sexy clientele. Kauboi (cowboy) is the see-and-be-seen high-energy restaurant and bar on the 3rd floor. It blends Japanese with modern Western influence, a very upscale menu, and interesting cocktails, but what you wouldn’t expect are the servers strutting through the dining room in leather harnesses, looking like they may have wandered in from the wrong side of town. Our bartender leaned over to take our order with the buckles on his chest gleaming under the sultry lights. Hmm.

“Can I tempt you with an outlaw?” he asked. We had no idea whether he meant a cocktail or himself...

We settled on some cocktails and let the people-watching begin. Contrary to a menu item called milk toast, this bar is actually quite sizzling. Jade raised an eyebrow while she eyed the harnessed hottie across the bar and said, "Do you think they deliver?"

It wasn’t long before a flirty Englishman named Oliver stood behind (quite closely, I might add) to order cocktails. With a wink, Oliver offered us a drink. As he looked around the bar, he said, "If the food is as tantalizing as you ladies,

this is going to be a very satisfying evening." However, before long,

a tap on the shoulder from his adorable young wife signaled it was time for us to change venues.

We were looking for a different scene so we headed up to the rooftop pool bar overlooking the entertainment district of Scottsdale. The night lights twinkled, and so did the smile of the young, handsome—you guessed it—dentist. He was charming in that slightly overeager way that screamed, “I can’t believe women this hot are talking to me.”

Still, as the rooftop crowd got rowdier and the dentist's stories circled back to root canals, we exchanged a look. We’d had fun, but decided to head out to to our usual late-night martini stop, always a good idea (not) :)

So with a pair of cheek kisses and a “I’ll be sure to call for an appointment,” they rode off into the night.

Next stop AZ 88, where the bartenders know how we like our martinis and the vibe never disappoints. No familiar faces tonight, but always a place to meet new friends. We had a great conversation with the two single women who asked us to join them to go dancing at the Blue Martini. The Blue Martini, although super fun, is on High Street, a 30 min Uber... we skedaddled on that plan. Thank God! We finished our martinis and accepted another evening of being sexiled in Scottsdale.
