Mystery author #1 was an East Coast girl, the original bridge and tunnel cutie who made it in the Big Apple then traveled west before debuting in the desert. After surviving divorce, she re-emerged into the Scottsdale dating scene, armed with a sense of humor, stilettos and a keen sense of style. Now she's swiping, sipping and storytelling her way through awkward first dates, delicious disasters and the occasional happy accident. Luckily she has fantastic friends, a sense of humor and just enough life experience to know that red flags don't make good home decor.

Mystery author #2, a west coast siren, arrived in the Valley of the Sun at the start of the new millennium. A decade in, the marriage ended, kids went to college and things got funky. Match, Zooks, Blue Martini, the Gym, endless GNOs and here we are; stylishly single in all the right places. Trading PTA meetings for poolside martinis, now she's taking notes on Scottsdale bachelors. Part time traveler, full time romantic, fluent in red wine and bad dates. We're not here to find Prince Charming - we're here to laugh, write, and maybe kiss a few frogs along the way. She's a desert rose with a sharp tongue and a soft spot for guys with a sense of humor. Full time work, full time fun and a lot of opportunities for research. Stay tuned.

The blog? It's the good, the bad, the WTF of lust, love, and late night texts-straight out of the desert. We are learning that Scottsdale is best enjoyed with an espresso or dirty martini in one hand and a group chat full of ride or die friends in the other.
